Glad this batch of pic's made it, and are a bit better.
The ventometer works by allowing micrometer adjustment to the sight. It has a vernier scale on the top, so you are able to make microscopic adjustments in windage and elevation. The tool is used for both windage and elevation by just turning it to the adjustment required. This is a bit convoluted, and I'll do a write up as to it's use later. Ok to post, if you want to use them.
The tool is not left on the sight, just used to adjust it.
